The Natural World

Being brought up on a farm I was naturally (no pun intended) both at ease with and fascinated by the Natural World. As one of 6 sisters I was used to being outdoors most of the time, helping on the farm, seeing and hearing the owls, kestrels, and chickens, while marvelling at the changing colours of the year. 

All my life, even as an established ‘towny’, I have been drawn toward nature and it seems only natural (!) to try and capture the colours and charms of both creatures and landscapes, with the very frequent painting of sweet peas – my favourite flower!
